Each day brings a new adventure. An opportunity to capture a little of what I see as beauty in the world around me. Painting in different mediums gives me the chance to capture my mood and my art on canvas or paper.

Teaching, painting on location, or at my easel in the studio brings me great joy.

Karen Lostracco Austin Roses on a 24x36


I am working on a large 24x36 canvas in oils for a show coming up. Im using bristle brushes and really have the paint flowing. I love roses. This is just a section of it as none of the painting is completely finished . I just started today.

    Thanks Melody, I hope you are doing more drawing like you mentioned. It is so fun isnt it? Im working as hard as I can to get several large paintings finished on my show.
