Painting for the last day of the year 08


Shuffling through the pictures of my summer garden I found these gardenias. Thin washes of transparent dark colors and then a splash of opaque light values and this 18 x 24 canvas is finished. It may be dreary outside my window but the light at my easel is great!!

    Thanks Cat, I love my garden and have an ongoing battle with the deer for who owns it! The American Rose Society Gardens in Shreveport La. will take your breath away in the spring. K
